• .Interactions between researchers and decision-makers must be considered a priority to raise awareness and build agreement on research priorities. • Use strategies like social marketing and awareness-raising campaigns to develop more positive attitudes towards research within the Ministry. • Reach a consensus on the issues of interest to the Ministry by using participatory and collaborative processes and interventions proven effective. • Improve access and communicate research results in an appropriate format, in a timely manner and using a variety of means adapted to users’ context. • Train researchers, to be able to communicate clearly to a non-research audience, and users, to be able to access and understand research results. • Change structures that influence decision-making processes to promote evidence use by policy-makers. |
